Debra is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who enjoys counseling adults, teens and children who want help and healing from anxiety, depression, eating disorders, self-esteem, trauma, and dysfunctional relationships. Her counseling services seek to assist clients to heal, repair and enhance relationships with self, family and others. Debra is currently obtaining an eating disorders treatment certificate and has advanced training to utilize EMDR. She began her counseling career after graduating with a Master’s degree in Social Work at the University of Texas, and completed her extensive training to become a licensed psychotherapist (LCSW) in 2003. In addition to a private practice, Debra is affiliated with the Addiction Recovery Center and provides workshops and trainings on a variety of personal issues and communication skills for children, teens, and adults. She is a member of the AACC and the NASW. Debra speaks Spanish.
