Joan is a Marriage and Family Therapist Trainee who is completing her Master’s degree at Western Seminary. She has a Bachelor’s degree from Vassar College in Poughkeepsie, NY. Joan was employed in the high tech industry for ten years and has been in women's ministry for 15 years. She works with individuals, couples, adolescents and families. Her counseling areas of interest include attachment and family-of-origin issues, marriage, divorce, women’s issues, trauma, adolescent issues, anxiety, depression, addiction and spirituality. She is a member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists and the American Association of Christian Counselors. Joan has two grown daughters.
