Joan is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who received her Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at Western Seminary. She also has a Bachelor’s degree from Vassar College in Poughkeepsie, NY. Joan was employed in the software industry for ten years and has been in ministry for fifteen years. She enjoys working with people of all beliefs and backgrounds, and is happy to integrate spirituality into counseling to the degree desired by the client. Joan likes to work with couples at all stages of relationship - premarital, marital, and divorce recovery. She also enjoys working with individuals, adolescents, children and families. Joan is a member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists and the American Association of Christian Counselors. She has two grown daughters.
