Tina Engel is a registered Marriage and Family Therapist Intern with a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at Chapman University. She earned B.A. degrees in Sociology and Psychology at the University of California, Santa Cruz. She is a certified Lay Counselor and Prepare & Enrich Marriage and Premarital Counselor. She has also completed Basic Training in Elijah House School of Prayer Ministry. She is a member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists and the American Association of Christian Counselors. She has worked at El Dorado Mental Health as a counselor in the Juvenile Hall system and for ED programs at high schools. Tina has nine years experience in church ministry and also teaches on marriage and women issues at churches. Tina works with marriages, pre-marriages, women, and adolescents, as well as those struggling with codependency, life transitions, grief and loss, low self worth, childhood wounds, emotional issues and strongholds. Tina is a motivational strengths builder who thrives on helping others find their purpose, place and peace in life. Tina has been married since 1995 and has two sons in middle school. In her leisure time Tina enjoys softball, volleyball, scrap booking and hiking.
