Dr. Farber is a licensed Psychologist. She earned her Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology from Argosy University, and her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from U.C. Berkeley. Dr. Farber’s past clinical experience includes working with adults at the Hume Center, a community mental health clinic, and with children and teens at Kaiser Permanente, Bayside Elementary Schools and STARS, a therpeutic summer day camp. Her clinical areas of focus include depression, anxiety, family and parenting issues, cultural differences and acculturation, surviving truma, and living with chronic psychological challenges such as Bipolar Disorder and Schizophrenia. Dr. Farber’s philosophy for therapy includes an individualized approach based on the specific strengths, needs and goals of each client. Her approach is holistic, integrating spiritual growth, physical health, relationships, and symptom reduction. Dr. Farber has been married since 2002 and enjoys art, singing, hiking, gardening and cooking.
