Jerry is a registered Marriage and Family Therapist Intern. He received his Master’s degree from Western Seminary in Marriage and Family Therapy. In addition to working with substance abuse and addiction issues, Jerry works with codependency, family-of-origin issues, self-esteem/self-worth, anger, depression, anxiety, grief & loss with individuals, couples and families. Jerry is also an Intern-counselor at the New Life Community Services addiction treatment program in Santa Cruz, where he counsels individuals and groups. He is a Registered Recovery Worker with the California Cerification Board of Alcohol & Drug Counselors and a Certified Prepare & Enrich Counselor. Jerry is a member of CAMFT, the California Association of Alcoholism & Drug Abuse Counselors, the American Association of Christian Counselors, and the National Association for Christian Recovery.
