Daniel is a registered Marriage and Family Therapist Intern with his Master’s degree from Western Seminary and his Bachelor’s from California Poly, San Luis Obispo. Daniel completed the Addiction Studies and has been providing treatment to individuals suffering from addictive behaviors. Daniel works with individuals, couples, adolescents and families around issues including life transitions, relational, codependency, depression, anxiety, stress, family of origin, inter-generational family issues, substance abuse, and men’s issues. Other clinical areas of interest are self-esteem, religious/spiritual issues, and gambling and sexual addiction. Daniel was born in Hong Kong and has been in the States for more than 18 years. He is fluent in both Cantonese and English, and he speaks Mandarin as well. He is a member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists and American Association of Christian Counselors.
Daniel was employed in the high tech industry for 10 years and has been involved in church ministries for more than 11 years in bible study groups, youth and adult Sunday school and music ministry. Daniel is mission-minded and is an active member of Chinese Christian Herald Crusade evangelical music team -- Hope Express -- and participated in various mission trips. He is a vocalist and a pianist.
