Jeremy is a registered Marriage and Family Therapist Intern. He works with children and adolescents who experience anxiety, depression, grief, anger, or ‘acting out’; adults experiencing disappointment, regret, grief, depression, anxiety, and difficult life transitions; couples whose marriages are challenging or damaged; people experiencing grief related to a variety of sources. While previously living in Seattle, Washington, Jeremy served as a volunteer chaplain at two juvenile detention centers, facilitated community psycho-social education groups on topics including grief, parenting, and anger, and worked as a clinical staff member of a residence for mentally ill persons. Upon moving to California in 2005, he worked with EMQ’s program UPLIFT. During that time he served children (and their families) who were referred by the Santa Clara County departments of Child and Family Services, Juvenile Probation, and Mental Health. Since late 2006, Jeremy has worked in the social services department of a local skilled nursing facility, where he currently works as the Social Services Director for Medicare residents. Jeremy has maintained a caseload of clients at the Christian Counseling Centers since 2005.
