Debra brings a commitment to counseling adults, teenagers, and children who have been impacted by eating disorders, depression, low self-esteem, divorce, trauma including sexual abuse, and life transitions. She began her counseling career after graduating with a Master's degree in Social Work from the Univeristy of Texas, then completed extensive training counseling to youth, families and adults to become a licensed psychotherapist (LCSW) in 2003. In addition, Debra regularly counsels people who need to talk to a counselor about the inevitable challenges in daily life often with the goal of bettering the present and future for themselves and for their relationships. Additionally, Debra obtained an eating disorders treatment certificate in CEU's and is trained in the use of EMDR. Debra enjoys traveling with her husband, speaking Spanish, making pottery, and mountain hiking.
