Hooria is a Marriage and Family Therapist Trainee who will complete her Master’s degree at Santa Clara University in June 2010. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Washington. Hooria works with individuals, couples, families, and children. Her counseling areas of interest include anxiety, couples/marital/premarital counseling, depression, divorce, mindfulness, personality disorders, positive psychology, and stress management. Outside of the Center, Hooria co-leads Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills training groups, works part-time as a Research Assistant at Stanford University’s Clinically Applied Affective Neuroscience Laboratory, and is a volunteer for the Center for Compassion and Altruism Research and Education.
