Mary Lou is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Santa Clara University. She attended Westmont College and received her Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from U.C. Berkeley. A therapist at CCC for over 10 years, Mary Lou works with individuals, couples and families. Her counseling interests include: life transitions, codependency, infertility struggles, OCD, anxiety, depression and highly sensitive persons. Mary Lou also provides premarital counseling and assertiveness training. She especially enjoys integrating faith with psychological health. Mary Lou has counseled in college and elementary school settings. She is trained in EMDR for trauma resolution and other issues and is a member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists. Married since 1992, she is the mother of two children.
