Catherine is a registered Marriage and Family Therapist Intern with a Masters degree from Pacifica Graduate Institute and a Bachelors degree from Austin College.  Catherine also completed a Masters of Divinity at Candler School of Theology with Emory University and a year of Clinical Pastoral Education in chaplaincy at the Veterans Administration hospital in Palo Alto.  Currently she works with individual adults and adolescents, couples, and families at CCC on a variety of issues.  Particular areas of interest are healing from trauma, grief, anger, anxiety, adjusting to life’s transitions, the struggles of adolescent girls, existential issues surrounding a questioning and seeking faith, and improving communication between couples and those in families.  Catherine believes strongly that we all posses the capacity to heal within ourselves and sees her job as providing a safe environment and a caring, curious presence that help healing occur.  She is a member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists and a commissioned Deacon in the United Methodist Church in the process of ordination.
