Catherine is a Marriage and Family Therapist Trainee completing her Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology at Pacifica Graduate Institute. She graduated from Austin College with a B.A. in English, received a Master’s of Divinity degree from Candler School of Theology in Atlanta, GA, and was certified in Clinical Pastoral Education while working as a chaplain for the VA Health Care System in Palo Alto. Catherine understands counseling as a process through which people can receive support and resources to help them deal with difficult times and come to understand themselves better. Her areas of special interest are relationship issues, anger, dream work, grief, and life transitions. She enjoys working with individuals, couples, and groups of many ages and is a member of CAMFT. Catherine enjoys cooking, poetry, hiking with her husband, and spending time with friends.
