Janie is a Marriage and Family Therapist Trainee who is completing her Master’s degree at Western Seminary, Los Gatos, CA. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Calvin College in Grand Rapids, MI and then worked as a Youth Pastor for several years followed by Sales in a Distribution Company. Janie is a member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists and the American Association of Christian Counselors. Her areas of special interest are women’s issues, family of origin issues, parenting, anxiety, depression, grief and life transitions, and spirituality. Janie enjoys reading, cooking, and hiking. She is married and has three children.
