Janie is a registered Marriage and Family Therapist Intern who received her Master’s degree at Western Seminary. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Calvin College in Grand Rapids, MI and then worked as a Youth Pastor for several years followed by Sales in a Distribution Company. Janie works with individuals, couples and families. Her special areas of interest are women’s issues, family of origin issues, marriage, self-esteem, parenting, anxiety, depression, grief and life transitions, and spirituality. Janie is a member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists and the American Association of Christian Counselors. Janie enjoys reading, cooking, and hiking. She is married and has three children.
