Terri is a registered Psychological Assistant, with a Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology from PGSP - Stanford Psy.D. Consortium in Palo Alto, CA. She has experience working with children, adolescents, individuals, couples and families. Dr. Thompson specializes in Play Therapy, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), depression, anxiety and eating disorders. Terri works with individuals and groups utilizing treatments developed by the National Center for PTSD. For children and adolescents with Eating Disorders, Dr. Thompson received training from Stanford to utilize a family-based treatment; cognitive and interpersonal approach for adolescents and adults. For other child and adolescent issues, i.e. ADHD, she works with parents, teachers and other professionals. Terri enjoys working with couples and families to improve on the dynamics of the relationships. Terri is a member of the American Psychological Association and the Santa Clara County Psychological Association. Dr. Thompson enjoys leading workshops and her hobbies include attending jazz concerts, listening to gospel jazz and traveling the world.
