Carol is a licensed Psychologist. She received her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the California Graduate School of Psychology. Her M.A. in Special Education is from the University of Santa Clara. The foundational B.A. in Psychology is from the University of California at Santa Barbara. Carol has been working as a clinician since 1991. As a Psychologist, Carol has had extensive formal training and practice in couple relationships and trauma re-processing (EMDR). Struggling relationships, including chronic conflict and detached marriages, are just two of the dysfunctional marriage patterns Carol works with. Individuals challenged by depression, anxiety, grief and loss, are guided to arrive at a more positive way of experiencing themselves and their relationships. Carol believes that life is a journey of transformation, and weaves principles of hope and healing into all her work. She has both taught and counseled in Poland, as well as the Czech Republic. Carol is married with four adult children. Carol enjoys a diverse multicultural family that includes Asian and Hispanic members.
